Electro-Cap

Electrodecap from Electro-Cap Inc.   Standard  10-20 Layout (19 EEG postions + GND). For reference usually separate Ear electrodes are used (E5), but you can have a reference electrode built into the cap. You would then need to specify both its position as the pin number on which it should be connected on the cap connector.  Note that this is a non-standard optioin and the usuablity depends on the EEG machine you are using and  it's cap connector configuration.

Note, you need to have a fixation method for the caps already or add it to your order. You have a choice of a Body Harness (E3), or Chin Strap (E23).

Foam pads with adhesive backing.  Use with E21 Disk Electrode as an alternative to the E5 Ear Electrodes or virtually any additional electrode placement (i.e. eye, ECG, EMG etc.)

Body Harness for Electro-Cap, choose size

Foam circles with adhesive backing used on the forehead or on any other hairless areas. They keep the ECI Electro-Gel from spreading between the electrodes and absorb perspiration. It is recommended the disks be placed on FP1 and FP2 to prevent the cap from moving up on the forehead. Sponge disks are effectively used on infants due to the tenderness of the scalp and may assist in fitting the caps properly.

A pair of pure tin cup electrodes with a 48" (122 cm) lead wire and a female socket. A spring-clip back, covered with plastic for patient comfort, is used to hold the electrode in place.

ECI Electro-Gel has been specifically formulated for the use with Electro-Cap products. Other brands or types of gel may cause high electrode impedance and various types of electrode artifacts.

Replacement straps with buckles and snaps.  Used to hold the caps securely in place by attaching to cap and body harness.

Ivory detergent, recommended by Electro-Cap for cleaning the caps, as it contains no additives, perfumes or acids. 

A recessed pure tin electrode with a 72" (183 cm) lead wire and female socket.  Designed for extra electrode placements under the cap fabric on an occasional basis.  May also be used in place of E21 Disk Electrodes where a recessed electrode is preferred by using an E6 Disposable Sponge Disk to hold the Bio-Potential Electrode in place.

Used as an alternative to the E3 Body Harness for situations such as ICU and ER.  Effective with combative patients and those who feel restrained by the Body Harness. Straps secure the cap by fastening under the patient's chin with Velcro®.  It is recommended that E24 Chin Strap Pads be used with the Chin Straps.
